Adib Saani, who is a Foreign Policy and Security Analyst has revealed publicly on JoyNews this morning that, the killing in the Wa communities have grown exceedingly high because of the fact that the very people who live there are afraid to talk.
He said this because of the news circulating on social media that, another private security guard has been killed in Wa. It was not long ago that news concerning the people of Wa stirred massively on social media all over the country, Ghana, about 5 murder cases all revolving around the so-called Illegal mining, popularly known as Galamsey.
Now, another person has also been killed due to the same course, making the 6th murder case in 5 month in Wa, this is serious yet the people have refused to reveal those people behind the killing.
The main reason why they are not trying to disclose the identity of the culprit, is because they are afraid that after they have revealed the information to the police, the community members will known the person who told the truth, and maybe he or she might be the next victim of the killing incidents in Wa. That is their mentality, Adib Saani added.
Tell me, do you believe the fact that nobody around the areas where the crime was committed saw this wicked act going, that’s a big lie, they are afraid to say something because if they do they know that they have put their lives at stick, Adib Saani explained.
