It seems everyone in the gospel fraternity has a particular reason why they joined the gospel music industry and how they want their career to take turns.
Gospel musician Joyce Blessing has disclosed the reason why she ventured into the music industry. According to her, her gospel carer is strictly business and nothing else.
In an interview on Rainbow FM with presenter Togo Borga, Joyce Blessing described herself as a businesswoman. The host asked Joyce Blessing if she does music to spread God’s word or has other motives. “Are you performing gospel music as a business, or simply spreading the message of God?” the host questioned.
Joyce Blessing stated that her music career is both a ministry and a business to her. However, she sees her career as a business. She emphasized that the gospel industry is purely business.
“To me, my job is both a business and a ministry. It is a business straight but I minister the word of God through it. Gospel is a business!”
