Ghanaians, yesterday slept with the sad news of a lady on Twitter accusing the deputy captain of the Ghana Black Stars and Arsenal’s player, Thomas Partey of rape.
The news was not a pleasant one knowing how some of these black players in Europe are treated with such issues.
Nonetheless, a post on Facebook by one of them Foot Soldiers of the Nana Akuffo-Addo and Director of NEIP noted that the said lady is the girlfriend of Thomas Partey. The two only had a misunderstanding and Partey did something without her consent when she was under alcohol.
He quizzed why the lady will not just sort out the issue with his boyfriend if there is a misunderstanding but will go around making a huge case out of it.
According to the post Kofi Ofusu Nkansah, “This lady who is accusing Partey of r*pe on Twitter says they were dating but he did something to her without her consent when she was drunk and asleep.”
Mr. Nkansah also said “I know there can even be marital rape but why can’t you sort out issues with your guy if he did something against your wish but sell him out to the World. Is it because he didn’t settle with you? Koo Darkey will go and chase these foreign gals and bring himself unnecessary wahala.”
We pray that this won’t mess up the career of the Ghanaian talent.
