Officers of Recruit Course 33 have marked 20 years of enlistment into the Ghana National Fire Service with a colorful programme.
As part of activities to mark the day, Personnel who came from all parts of the Country gathered at the National Headquarters for some keep fit exercises in the early hours of the day.
The group later visited the Ghana Society For the Socially Disadvantaged at Kaneshie and donated food items, clothes, assorted drinks and an undisclosed cash amount to the members.
The programme continued with a get-together at the National Headquarters where ACFO I James Oheneba Yaw Kwateng, Commanding Officer at the GNFS Headquarters and Chairman for the day as well and DO I Joseph Forson, Deputy Director Operations took turns to congratulate the Personnel for staying together as a Course for 20 years and encouraged them to maintain the unity among them so as realise bigger achievements in future.
A Thanksgiving Service was held on the Sunday, July 24th, 2022 at St. Luke Methodist Church, Abossey Okai to seek God’s favour and blessings in the coming years.
Also in attendance were DO I Philip Kottey, Operations Officer of the Greater Accra Fire Command as well as DO lll Rodger Debra from the Audit Department at National Headquarters.
