Evangelist Diana Asamoah is one of the top gospel musicians in Ghana who has manifested in the life of many people throughout her career. She is known for her powerful and dynamic live performances and has been a part of the music industry in Ghana for almost two decades.
Diana spoke against women who apply makeup on their faces and also wear wigs in their hair. She said, ‘If you want to be a good Christian you have to be a good example. You don’t have to be using all those things. You have to stay natural.
Her statement attracted a lot of attention and people accepted it. It is not wrong to wear wiggles in your hair. Nowadays Diana Asamoah is practicing all things she spoke against. In an interview, she revealed that she didn’t know much about those things but she has now understood it was not wrong to wear a wig and apply makeup.
She is one of the gospel musicians who supported the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the recent Ghana elections. During their delegates’ conference, Diana Asamoah was present to support the party.
Ghanaians who still don’t agree with the gospel musician becoming a politician poured out their disappointment and anger at her.
