Plans are far advanced for Asante Kotoko to visit United Arab Emirates for pre-season as was done last year ahead of the season. Management intend to visit Dubai before the commencement of a new season.
Asante Kotoko – in 2021 – embarked on a two week pre-season in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The decision to hold preparations outside the shores of Ghana was greeted with gamut of comments. Those comments, many of whom were expressed with pessimism, did not sway and blindfold their plans as they knew exactly what they were after.
After a two-week preparations in Dubai, they arrived in Ghana with renewed energy and aspirations, starting the Ghana Premier League on a sparkling note.
Coach Prosper Ogum and his lads remained purposeful to complete 2021/22 season with a league silverware. The league triumph has earned them a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League.
This sums up what the intentions were when management opted for Dubai as pre-season destination. They harbor another aspirations of making it to United Arab Emirates and have adequate preparations for the impending tasks, that is, domestic matches and CAF inter club competitions.
Management of Asante Kotoko and the Board of Directors are scheduled for s meeting after which the team may depart the shores of Ghana.
