In response to Defense Minister Domonic Nitiwul’s allegation that President Ghana has been prudent in the last three months, MP for North Tongu Okudzeto Ablakwa has responded.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has not utilized a private plane in the last three months, according to a Bimbilla MP, indicating that the President is aware of the country’s economic difficulties.
Okudzeto Ablakwa reacted angrily to Dominic Nitiwul’s assertion that Dominic’s worldview is harmful to the country’s progress.
It is his belief that wise leaders don’t wait until their countries are in dire straits before exercising fiscal restraint on their spending.
According to the legislator: “An incorrect claim and a hazardous mindset. “Good leaders don’t wait for challenges to be cautious and caring; instead, they have the wisdom to recognize that their extravagant spending eventually leads to the kind of terrible agony that Ghanaians are currently experiencing.’”
