Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known as Edem has revealed his intentions of collaborating with female afropop and dancehall artiste, MzVee soon.
Edem, who joined the music industry a couple of years back, mentioned that he has performed on a number of platforms with MzVee, and therefore collaborating withMzVee would definitely push his musical career to another level.
Credited with a number of songs which include ‘Gbevu’, ‘Ghetto Arise’, ‘Over Again’,‘The Legacy’, ‘Give It Up’, ‘Too Much’, ‘Over Fuck’,‘Ride With Me’among others, Edemin an interview with Adom TVmentioned that he’s been a good friend to MzVee for the past years.
“We’ve been on a lot of platforms and hopefully people will hear from us. The two of us will definitely put out a song,” he said.
He further congratulated MzVee on her 10 Thirty album launch, saying “congratulations MzVee, mad love to you.”
Edemrose to fame in 2006 with his first hit single ‘Wotome Woshi’ and he got signed to the Last Two Entertainment Group that same year.
He won the Best International Act-Africa at 2015 Black Canadian Awards.
He beat Mafikizolo from South Africa, Yemi Alade from Nigeria, Davido also from Nigeria, Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, Oritse Femi from Nigeria and Teeyeh from Ivory Coast to win the award.
Edem won 2015 Vodafone Ghana Awards Album of the Year, Afropop Song of the Year with ‘Koene’ and Video of the Year with ‘The One’ video featuring Sway, UK.
