Emmanuel Andrews Sammini, known by his stage name as Samini, the Dancehall artiste has stated on record that he would not dent his over twenty ( 20) years of record with just a mere School Representative Council (SRC) elections.
The multiple award winning dancehall singer made this claims when his co-contestants alleged that he, Samini wants to cheat in the SRC elections in GIMPA.
Speaking on multi-media’s sister station, Hitz Fm, the artiste mentioned, ““I didn’t know student politics ran this deep, till I accepted to run, but I realize that it’s all politics so when your opponent finds anything that can distract you, they’ll use it, because it’s a weapon”.
More to this, Samini reiterated that, “I have an over 20-year legacy to protect and I won’t use GIMPA SRC office to soil it, that’s going to be unfortunate”, he intimated.
A section of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) students alleged this when it became clear that one competitive contestant named Fred Amese was declared not fit to contest by the school’s body.
Speaking more to the issue, formerly of Batman and now Samini said, “Would it be a bad strategy if anybody wants to do that, even though I wouldn’t say that’s a fact that I know?”, he quizzed.
He mentioned that to suggest that there’s no way he would ever have such thoughts.
