The left-back, Imoro Ibrahim enjoyed an excellent season with the Porcupine Warriors, Asante Kotoko as they won their 24th Ghana Premier League title. He was essential in his side’s Ghana Premier League campaign to make his side edge 3 more trophies ahead of fierce rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
After the last match of the season against Accra Lions, he said in the post-match interview that he has all the qualities it takes to be in the Black Stars team. These were his words, “With my performance, I think I am capable of playing in the Black Stars team but maybe my time has not come yet so I am waiting for my time”
He has a number of appearances in the Black Stars B team but is yet to get into the A-team. He was snubbed a callup from Otto Addo during the AFCON Qualifiers game against Madagascar and the Central African Republic.
