Chelsea are set to sell striker Romelu Lukaku to Intermilan during the incoming days. Hence, there will be space to sign a new player in Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
One player who will be easy for Chelsea to acquire is Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele. Dembele played some of his best football under Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund.
Hence, Chelsea fans are pushing to see Dembele join the club on a free transfer from Barcelona with PSG also pushing to sign him. However, a new name has recently emerged, on Chelsea’s transfer list.
According to reports, Chelsea have bid to sign Man City winger Raheem Sterling from Manchester City, in a shock report. The blues tried getting the striker for 25 million but Manchester City have quickly turned them down.
City reportedly want 50million and Chelsea are said to be willing to sign Sterling although this will mean that the club cannot acquire Dembele.
Sterling has scored over 150 goals and will be a major upgrade on the likes of Timo Werner due to his creative abilities.
However, Sterling signing has led fans to start debating whether he was better than Dembele because the club was willing to sign only one between the two wingers.
