There appear to be a lot of Ghanaian players on the move this summer to bigger clubs. It can only be good news for Ghana and the national team provided they will be getting regular minutes at their clubs. The latest Ghanaian player rumoured to be on the move is Sherrif Tiraspol midfield enforcer Edmund Addo. Edmund has been a revelation for the Moldovan side in their debut champions league campaign.
Serbian side Red Star Belgrade is set to move for the player provided all parties involved agree on a fee and other details. Addo himself is bent on leaving the Moldovan champions in this current transfer window. Addo made seventeen league appearances last season providing two goals and was also a key figure in their maiden Champions League Group stage appearance.
Other clubs in Belgium and Italy are also rumoured to be interested in his signature. He is currently with the national team in Japan participating in the Kirin Cup tournament. The Black Stars lost their first match of the tournament to Japan by 4 goals to 1.
