Fearless National Youth Organizer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha has touted the achievements of the various governments of the NPP in Northern Ghana. Speaking in an interview on Dreamz FM, Salam Mustapha stated that the party’s governments have extended massive development to the North of Ghana and improved the living conditions of residents particularly young people.
He said, “unlike the opposition NDC, which, he believes is only interested amassing votes in that part of the country, the NPP and its governments have taken deliberate steps to bridge the developmental gap between the North and South by undertaking monumental projects in the area to significantly transform the lives of residents. He listed the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, the recently commissioned flyover in Tamale and the ongoing Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam as some of the transformational projects undertaken by governments of the NPP, and he challenged the NDC to show any monumental project it has initiated in the country’s North.
He argued that, while the NDC and its government, during their tenure, grossly mismanaged the economy, forcing the country to seek an IMF bailout, the NPP’s government led by President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has prudently managed the economy of the country, creating numerous employment opportunities for especially the youth and implementing life-changing policies to better the lives of Ghanaians.
“I believe the youth of this country also believe that the NPP is a party of hope for the Ghanaian youth and will rather believe in the NPP than go back to the NDC. We have lived in this country, under the NDC, there was unemployed graduate association in this country because for 8 years they were in office, there was a freeze on public employment”.
