Popular Disc jockey, DJ Willie and his co-host Papa Shamoo have officially join Media General’s Onua FM and Onua TV.
It seems the exodus of Captain Smart from the Angel broadcast network (ABN) has been a curse more than a blessing, it’s has been a big blow to the media conglomerate.
Captain Smart joined the group when he exited from Multimedia, he left alongside Nana Yaa Brefo and joined the ABN group.
Barely a year on, the then morning show host, Godsbrain Smart, was sanctioned for allegedly insulting the vice president of Ghana. After his supposed sanctioned, the group later announced that Captain Smart has been sacked.
The aggrieved morning man joined Media General’s Onua FM’s and Onua TV, With sports journalist Ansah Apagya, Afred Takyi and news Anchor Adwoa Asantewaa and some crew members.
Even though Captain Smart has gone through lots of challenges in his enterprise, the morning man has become the most successful morning show host in the country.
Kaseebo Hene Appiah Kubi popularly known as Wasa international also join later and now the duo DJ Willie and Papa Shamoo.
DJ Willie was once With the Kanda based Media General. He was the co host one of TV3’s flagship program “music music.” He was later joined by Papa Shamoo. DJ Willie has also work with Multimedia group.
Even though it is not clear the show The duo are going to host but I can predict, they may host an after drive show. From 7:00 in the evening to 10:00 in the night.
