Anticipation for the world cup in Qatar is growing day by day. The excitement that is building up is great. The stadia that they have put up are just breathtaking. Their hotels and the kind of technologies in place is simply amazing. One stadium in particular that is blowing the minds of people away is the Ras Abu Aboud stadium. This stadium is built entirely from shipping containers. It can be dismantled and used for another purpose.
Qatar is not a very huge country population wise. They are about 2.5 million in number. With high summer temperatures, each stadium, training facility and fan zone is equipped with solar-powered cooling technology to keep the temperature at 27C. All stadiums are eco-friendly and their temperature will be controlled. The organizers have pledged to put up stadiums with modular elements, which will be redesigned after the tournament to provide a lasting legacy for the 2022 FIFA World Cup far beyond Qatar’s borders.
