Maame Jane of Osofo Dadzie as revealed in a new interview with Kingdom Plus FM that she has instructed a Kumasi-based filmmaker to weave a movie around the loom of her dead body when she dies hours before she’s buried.
The veteran actress who says she’s poor as a church mouse despite acting for close to 50-years however fell short in disclosing the rationale behind her decision. Speaking about this and the fact that she has remained broke all this while, the actress responded by saying;
That’s the reality of my life after acting for 49 years. People feel that I’m a star so I’m always rich. As I’m talking to you, I’m broke
Producers and directors don’t call me anymore. If they do, I would have gotten something small in my pocket. Unfortunately, they have neglected me.
I can’t stop acting. I’ve been doing this since Osofo Dadzie era. That’s almost 50 years now. Until I die, I’ll continue to act. I’ve even informed one producer to make a movie with my dead body before they bury me. That’s when I die.
