Black Stars of Ghana are at risk of prosecuting their crucial 2022 FIFA World Cup African Qualifiers Playoff against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a neutral venue.
This is following a complain that was reportedly launched against them by the Nigeria Football Federation over the use of Cape Coast Stadium which is currently in bad shape.
It would be recalled that the current condition of the Cape Coast playing turf has been trending on social media for some days now.
Check out some of the photos that went viral after the cut.
A delegation from the Confederation of African Football are expected at the stadium later today to inspect the pitch for the last time before the encounter.
If the pitch fails the inspection, and no other Stadium in Ghana is up to standard, Ghana Football Federation will be instructed to pick a neutral venue where the first leg of the playoff would be decided.
