Lawyer Maurice Ampaw sent a strong message and dare to the Inspector General of Police, George Dampare today on the Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem Show, Wontumi TV. This dare and message was prompted by the ‘heroic’ action of the Minority Chief Whip of Parliament who doubles as the Member of Parliament of the Asawaase Constituency, Muntaka Mubarak, in saving the Madina MP from arrest.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw descended heavily on Muntaka for his earlier actions. He described Muntaka Mubarak as the leader of violence. Lawyer Maurice Ampaw believed that Ghanaians must begin asking questions as to why an MP in Ashanti region had the audacity to stop policing activities in the Greater Accra. He queried his viewers if that was part of parliamentary duties.
He later charged IGP Dampare to arrest and prosecute Muntaka Mubarak for obstructing police duties. He dared Dampare to arrest him if only he wants to protect his hard-earned reputation as the best IGP in Ghana so far.
