Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II is the 16th Asantehene. He was enstooled on 26 April 1999. By name, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is in direct succession to the 17th-century founder of the Ashanti Empire, Otumfuo Osei Tutu I. He is also the Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II has advices the policemen in Ghana especially those in the Ashanti Region to arrest those who uses his stickers on their cars and violate traffic regulation. According to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, it has come to his notice that some drivers have been using his stickers on their cars and have been violating traffic regulation. And when they violate traffic regulation and the police arrest them, they tell the police that they are from Menhyie.
So due to this, he is informing the policemen in Ghana especially in the Ashanti Region to arrest any driver who will use his sticker on their cars and violate the traffic regulation. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made this statement when the Ghana Police Service paid him a visit.
