Award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, professionally known as M.anifest has also shared his thoughts about the ongoing saga between the music industry and the royalty collection agency in Ghana, Ghana Rights Organization (GHAMRO).,
Other top-tier musicians in Ghana like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and others have all expressed their sentiments on how royalties are delayed and sometimes not paid to them by the organization. Some claim to have not received a penny from the agency, neither has the agency supported them in any way in their respective music career.
Speaking in an interview on JoyPrime with KMJ, M.anifest has revealed that he does not need to register with the agency before making money from his music.
According to him, he has been earning royalties from other international rights organizations even as an unregistered musician, thus the focus is not on GHAMRO as the main source of income from his music.
