If there is any particular day this current NPP Akufo Addo led government would wish will never fall due, then that day will be August 4th, this coming Wednesday.
Gradually things are shaping up for the hottest nationwide demonstration ever to be experienced in the country, that is the #fixthecountry# demonstration. And the angry and suffering Ghanaian youth is willing to make this event one that will tickle our current leaders and the future ones to come to start changing their leadership style.
Live today at Onua TV’s Maakye morning show were the leading conveners of the campaign; Okatakyie Afrifa who himself is a staunch NPP member, Avram Ben Moshe, Captain smart himself and one other guest. They were on a mission of tuning the minds of Ghanaians as to why they should join hands to fight this course against our selfish leaders.
Captain smart who is the host of the show and at the same time a leading convener of the campaign immediately broke in tears while listening to Okatakyie’s submission on the kind of difficult lifestyle some Ghanaian youths especially those at the ghettos are living. He confirmed the youth in the ghetto we see normal during day time in Accra, turns into “rascals” at night.
Without concluding, captain smart abruptly interrupted and swore on his blood to fight for the Ghanaian youth. “Even if I would have to die to ensure our greedy and selfish leaders start to think about the youth, I’m ready to die this coming Wednesday, and we will go down with anyone who dares to try anything silly at the campaign grounds”, he vowed.
He concluded that these politicians shouldn’t think August 4th is the end of the protest, but it is the beginning of the whole fight as they plan to embark on subsequent hotter demonstration on regular intervals.
Do you think this protest can cause a significant change in the minds of our leaders?
