The porcupine royals lost to Bechem United by 2-1. The game was full of tension and both side played a very good game to enticed their fans as usual.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko were dominant from the start of the game. They created some decent chances and they were decisive in the final thirds. They were also fluid in attack as well.
However, Bechem United were more aggressive on the ball and showed much confidence and quality on the ball. Steven Owusu got the opener for Bechem United at the 5th minute. It was a well taking goal and he was cheered by the fans.
Solomon Sarfo Taylor got the equalizer for the porcupine royals at the 32nd minute. Steven Owusu scored once again at the 41st minute for Bechem United from a spot kick to give the home team the lead once again.
The hunters pounded a lot of pressure on the Ghana Premier League giants in order to score more goals at the early stages of the second half. Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora was at his best once again to deny Bechem United from scoring.
The introduction of Steven Keyekeh, Osman Ibrahim and Naby Keita revitalized the attacking prowess of the porcupine royals but it did not worked out. Steven Owusu was named the man of the match after the game.
