Showbiz Personality, Abena Korkor had her turn on the Date Rush show. Ten men were paraded as usual, but the modus operandi of the game changed. Unlike the normal Date Rush program, which viewers are familiar with, the strategy changed this time around.
The men on the show were not allowed to switch off their rushes instead, Abena Korkor had a free day to decide on the kind of man she wants. Among the ten men was Koffie, the young man Bella grabbed on the show after several failed attempts. Abena Korkor listened attentively as the men, including Koffie, were made to answer mind-blowing questions about relationships and life.
Abena Korko was allowed to select the man whose answers to the topics were convincing. She took turns on the program to advise young ladies not to be quick in labeling men they come across as their boyfriends. According to her, she has several experiences with relationships, and some decisions she was quick to make caused the relationship to hit the rock. She also indicated that respect is very key in every relationship.
“For my own experience, I think respect, security, and trust are key in every relationship. Relationships can be quite challenging and as I say, no matter how bad the last relationship was, you must always have a positive outlook. The energy you give out is what you will receive”. She indicated.
Abena Korkor advised single ladies to take time to explore and date a lot of men before deciding on who to be with. According to her, ladies should not be quick to put all their eggs in one basket by labeling anyone as their boyfriend. She says ladies must give time to know men before accepting to be in relationships.
“One thing I have realized in relationships and my own experience, whenever a single man proposes to us, we are quick to put all our eggs in one basket. Don’t be quick to label someone as your boyfriend or significant other. Give time to know more about him and give yourself the opportunity to date other people, so that you can learn what you want and who is perfect for you.
Never put your precious eggs in one basket”. She advised.
After the program, Abena Korkor grabbed Bella’s Boyfriend, Koffie as her preferred partner for a project.
