Black Stars captain Dede Ayew has decided to part ways with championship side Swansea City. The decision could be described as difficult though, but it goes a long to be regarded as good for the son of Abedi Pele.
Dede Ayew, upon all the offers that were tabled before him, decided to stay and battle for Premiership qualification with Swansea City.
They commenced the season on a brilliant mark, grinding results both home and away. They were tipped to run over other clubs with ease and pull off their ambitions. As the season progresses, they started to trip in some matches. As results continued to be inconsistent, they were outmuscled from their favorite spot, but kept their ambitions intact.
The presence of Dede Ayew in the team gave them options in attack. The team will mostly rely on the talent of Dede to chalk success in matches. The Ghanaian international will rescue the team in critical moments, compelling the manager of the side to shower praises on the player.
Regardless, automatic qualification spot eluded the team, but they maintained their composure to make it to the championship playoffs.
They made tremendous efforts in the playoffs by way of sealing a playoffs finals with Brentford. Tried as much as they did, Brentford ensured they qualify ahead of the Swans. Dede Ayew’s hope of staging a Premiership qualification was reduced into tatters, which will mean, another season has to be played and spent in the English Championship.
Few days after the painful outcome, Black Stars captain decided to exit Swansea City.
Per a painstaking analysis, the decision will be of help to Dede Ayew.
He has another opportunity to sign for a major club in Europe. His career under review puts him in a better position to land a deal from a prestigious club in any of the top European leagues.
Dede Ayew must make his exit from Swansea City impactful in his next destination.
