The #FixTheCountry has been trending for the past two weeks as Ghanaians call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his associates to fulfill their promises made to Ghanaians during the 2020 campaign season but some of the citizens also need to change their attitudes to see the changes that we are yearning for.
The sensational media personality, Blessed Godbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart has promised his followers that he will not allow Mother Ghana to be devasted by some people. He posted a video of a young man defecating into a gutter.
Watching the video, this gutter is located in a city where a lot of houses are around but this young man has no shame. He pulled his trousers to defecate but when he realized there is a camera on him, he took to his heel. What a shame? We are always screaming to the government to provide gutters but when it is provided we don’t take of it.
When this same Ghanaian gets cholera or another filthy related disease, he will blame it on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Meanwhile, he is the cause of his own problems. Ghanaians who saw this shameful behavior blasted the young man. Others said that maybe there are no toilet facilities in the vicinity which is why he is defecating into the gutter.

A Facebook user known as Nana Opoku reacted that “Meanwhile there is a public toilet before that gutter. Oh Ghana, so is it the President who asks you to do this?”
Another Facebook user known as Michael Nuakoh also said that “He needs to be arrested for the law to deal with him period. If this guy is being arrested and fined and they continue with it don’t you think people living in such places with such a mindset will be fixed”.
