Now turned Evangelist, Patricia Oduro Koranteng, also known as Nana Agradaa has revealed that she has settled her debts at the National Communications Authorities (NCA) and paid a two years advance.
She made this revelation today, May 12 2021 at the Accra Circuit Court presided over by Emmanuel Essandor.
Recall, Nana Agradaa was arrested by the National Communication Authority (NCA) after they stormed the premises of her TV station, Thunder TV for operating illegally.
Appearing before the Accra Circuit Court, she was charged with offenses of Charlatanic advertisement (Sika Gari) contrary to section 137 of the Criminal Offenses Act, 1960.
She has also been charged under, section 110 of the Electronic Transaction Act 2008, Act 772.
Nana Agradaa pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against her and was granted bail of GHc500,000 of self-recognizance.
She was required to surrender her passport to the court’s register as part of her bail terms.
During court hearings on May 12, the defendant claimed that she had paid two-year fines in advance after paying prior debts.
Detective Inspector Frederick Sarpong, the prosecutor told the court that they were not aware that Nana Agradaa has settled her debts at the National Communication Authority (NCA).
To this end, the court has ordered the Prosecution to file their disclosures in two weeks and have same served on the accused person.
However, the case has been adjourned to May 26, 2021.
