The Executive Director at Child Rights International, Bright Appiah speaking in an interview has said that they have in their possession a list of celebrities who will appear before the court pertaining to the way they deal with their children which have a negative influence on them.Top 10 Things Every Anime Fan HATES
According to Mr. Bright Appaih, they have combed through a number of celebrities’ social media accounts and have seen how they are handling their children. Just like how Akuapem Pollo was dragged to court and jailed, this list of people would also be dealt with.
“We have profiled most of the celebrities accounts and we have seen the way and manner they are dealing with their children and very soon, some of them will be put before the court,” he said.
He mentioned that Akuapem Poloo was not dragged to court and jailed due to her nude pictures but it is because her son was involved. According to him, irrespective of who you are, so far as your actions involve a child, directly or indirectly affect a child, they will come after you and you would be made to face the law and pay for your actions.
Once you involve a child in that process, Child Rights will come after you and that is what people must understand. We didn’t send the lad(Akuapem Poloo) to the police station because of her nudity. But once your action directly or indirectly affects a child, they should expect to see us irrespective of who you are,” he added.
