The announcement of sad news gets many wondering what might have happened. The host of Good evening Ghana, Mr. Paul Adom Otchere is known by many Ghanaians due to his constant appearance on Metro Television every Tuesday and Thursday.
He interviews top politicians of different backgrounds on his program.
One of such persons he hosted not too long ago is Samuel Mensah. Samuel Mensah is a very close friend of Mr. Paul Adom Otchere.
He appeared on the Good Evening Ghana program as a guest a few months ago to share his business ideas.
Unfortunately, Samuel Mensah has died of the deadly Coronavirus. He was operating the famous Uncle John’s Bakery in the United Kingdom after taking over from his father.
Samuel Mensah contracted the coronavirus virus outbreak and could not survive. His sudden demise was announced by Mr. Paul Adom Otchere on Thursday, January 28, 2020, edition of the Good Evening Ghana program.
A sad Paul Adom Otchere showed a rebroadcast of the interview he had with the late Samuel Mensah.
“This is a difficult moment for me. I have been hit with sad news. I’m sorry to announce that, we will start today’s program on a sad note.
A friend of mine a very young man in his thirties has just died of coronavirus. I just cannot understand what is happening.
A young man who was working to help his country. He contracted the virus and died just yesterday. I’m very sad this evening”. Paul Adom Otchere noted.
He urged Ghanaians to take the safety protocols instituted by the government seriously. According to him, the pandemic is now getting serious and affecting the youth as well.
“Now the coronavirus pandemic is getting out of hand. Young people are dying from the virus and so we must take all the precautionary measures seriously.
The least moment then it is bringing sad news”. Paul Adom Otchere advised.
