One of Africa’s best DJs in the 90s Rev. Azigiza Junior has revealed he is the first person to establish a radio school in Ghana.
According to him, he did it both in Kumasi and the capital Accra before anyone.
Speaking on Pure Fm in Kumasi in an interview with Hammer Nti on “Hammer Time”, the once biggest entertainer of Ghana, born Rev. Victor Kpakpo Addo well known as Azigiza Junior revealed that, he started the first radio school in the country and trained successive people who took over from him.
“Quote my words, I established the first radio school in Ghana”, he said.
“I thought many people including Jerry Justice of Adom FM; he came for my first radio school. Later I took it to Kumasi, myself and Loving Cee we trained some people in Kumasi”, Azigiza revealed this in his interview monitored by MyNews.
He also revealed that, his effort to establish a radio school caught the attention of BBC and wanted to interview him then.
Rev. Azigiza advised young musicians and entertainers to cultivate the habit of showing appreciation to those who help them realize their dream.
