Currently, the hardest grooving number one authentic dancehall song by a Ghanaian is MakeUp by rising Fante reggae-dancehall artiste, Kahpun featuring BET award winner, Stonebwoy produced by Streetbeatz and mastered by Mix Masta Garzy.
Undoubtedly ‘MakeUp’ is destined for greatness especially looking at the blend between Kahpun and Stonebwoy with their lyrical dexterity on the song coupled with the amazing visuals in the video directed by Prince Dovlo.
The Cape Coast-based leader of the Higher Heightz Army, Kahpun speaking to Barrister Daniels monitored by MyNewsGh on ATL FM was asked how much it cost him to get Stonebwoy to collaborate on the MakeUp song and appear in the video as well.
He answered “I didn’t pay anything to get Stonebwoy on my song. Honestly speaking I didn’t pay a dime and like I have been saying it’s all about the relationship and respect. And he also has respect for talent and when he says he’ll do it, he’ll surely do it”.
Kahpun born Samuel Kobina Ampah is currently signed onto Hunta Production record label. He was recently touted as the next big artiste in the Ghanaian reggae dancehall space by entertainment critic, Mr Logic.
