Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Yendi Constituency of the Northern Region, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama has described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Ghana’s greatest.
He reveals that that singular act of cementing hitherto volatile relationship between the Abudu and Andani royal families is commendable as it will be an important ingredient in the development of the area.
According to him, both families are now one and charting a path of development all praise to the current president who built on steps initiated by his predecessors aimed at finding a lasting solution to what was a recurring problem.
Speaking on Personality Profile on Joy Fm monitored by MyNews, the son of the former Vice President admitted that the success chalked in resolving the chieftaincy conflict is one major step in the area regaining its lost glory.
“For the past years, nobody has been able to solve this Abudu, Andani case. Now we have a king who is a Dagomba King, no Abudu no Anadni, bringing peace to Dagbon and now we are going to capitalize on the peace to develop Yendi and see how we can change the narrative of a non-performance government like the NDC to a performance government like the NPP, and hopefully hopefully by the end of the day, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will get the second term.” He disclosed adding “Akufo-Addo is seen as the greatest President”
Alhaji Aliu Mahama last weekend defeated two other formidable aspirants at the NPP parliamentary primaries to become the parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NPP for Yendi Constituency.
