President NanaAddo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has told members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the Parliamentary primaries across the country to remember that the party is the only only one with the capability of transforming Ghana’s economy.
According to him, this should bind all aspirants together after tomorrow’s exercise so the party can work together to achieve the vision they have for Ghana.
“So let’s join hands, in the aftermath of the primaries, to advance the principles and ideas of our party, the realization of which are essential to the freedom, progress and prosperity of the Ghanaian people. We must remember, at all times, that we are the only party capable of supervising the transformation of our economy and nation that all Ghanaians want.”
This was contained in the President’s message to the members of the governing political party ahead of 2020 Parliamentary election.
He advised the Party of respecting all the various hygiene and social distancing protocols put in place by Ghana Health Service to ensure safety of all people to prove that despite COVID-19, Ghana can conduct elections where sanctity of the ballot is preserved.
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) will on Saturday be electing individuals who will represent the various constituencies in election 2020.
The election is taking place in Constituencies where the Political Party has sitting Members of Parliament.
The Party has promised that “Accordingly, the Party, while making sure that not more than 100 people congregate at a voting centre, will also be making available, alcohol-based hand sanitizers at each polling centre for delegates to sanitize their hands before participating in the polls. Equally, the Party has procured nose masks which shall be given to every delegate”.
