It is now an open secret that most female artistes in Ghana are into romantic relationships with their male managers but does it really contribute to the success of the female artiste’s music career.
Female gospel artiste Philipa Baafi who happens to be managed by her husband has revealed that having her husband as manager has contributed to her successful music career but she can’t vouch for others.
She made these comments in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central when asked if having her husband as manager has made her career successful.
She remarked “I can’t vouch for someone but as for me by the grace of God what I have experienced so far I think it is helping me a lot as a gospel artiste.
“My husband doubling as my manager has helped me for my music career to be highly successful”.
Female songstress, Queen eShun alleged recently in an interview with Zionfelix that having her ex-manager as fiancé has left her penniless and emotionally traumatized.
