The General Overseer of the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Reverend Ransford Obeng, has urged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to carry out his mandate as a leader without fear or favor.
According to him, the President has good intentions for the people of Ghana and should be firm in performing his duties towards transforming the Ghanaian economy.
Pastor Obeng made the remarks at a press briefing to announce the upcoming Spiritual Empowerment with Senior Pastor of the Fountain Gate Chapel; Reverend Eastwood Anaba.
“If I have any opportunity to meet the President all that I will tell him is that, he should put his feet down. Anything he needs to do, he must do it. In this world, anything you do people will talk about you. So he should do what is good. I know he has good intentions. He should carry it out, though it is not going to be easy”, he said.
He has also called on Ghanaians to continue praying for leaders appointed to serve in high offices of the nation.
This according to him will give leaders wisdom, protection and the strength to work towards transforming the country.
He said the current leadership of the country is doing a great job and needs time to improve on the lives of the citizenry.
The CCC is hosting the Senior Pastor of the Fountain Gate Chapel; Reverend Eastwood Anaba, with a special message for Christians within the Ashanti Region and neighboring regions.
Reverend Anaba will be guest for the event which be held between 17th and 21st October, 2018 at 6:00pm each evening.
According to the host Pastor, in times of hardship, the citizenry need the word of God, saying “tough times do not last, but only tough people last”.
He said the event which is christened ‘Spiritual Empowerment’ will inspire participants and make them spiritually strong to be able to overcome the tough times they are currently going through.
Pastor Obeng believes that the person with that word that will inspire Ghanaians in the difficult times is Reverend Eastwood Anaba.
