Gospel singer, Erico has criticized Ghana’s Angel Daniel Obinim for allowing Highlife musician K.K Fosu to perform in his church.
The TV3 Mentor winner argued that Angel Obinim should have invited a gospel singer to promote his/her act instead of K.K Fosu who is into secular music.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Light Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the singer expressed dissatisfaction about Angel Obinim’s conduct.
“I watched a video on social media the last time; a pastor picked a secular musician into his church to sing a love song. It looks like all gospel artistes in Ghana are dead. The person was singing exactly what he sings in the club in a church and on the alter”. He lamented.
“There is another pastor who also sang secular music in his church and after he had finished enjoying the song, he went ahead to say singing secular music in church changes nothing”, Erico criticized.
In a video that went viral on social media a week ago, Angel Obinim was seen with Highlife artiste KK Fosu singing one of his love sound “Kyere Me”.
In a similar video, Rev Obofuo was seemingly singing tunes from the self-acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale.
