Renowned actress/Tv personality, Abena Ghana born Cecilia Konamah has organized a free health screening at Asafo Market, a suburb of Kumasi during the weekend through her Nyamedua Foudation, an NGO.
The actress as a C.E.O of the foundation is embarking on this free health screening in 3 regions – Ashanti Region, Brong Ahafo Region, August 18, and Greater Accra Region, September 1. Courtesy of her munificence, she did for the free health screening what hasn’t been done before in this country, arguably.
During the screening, medicines were given out free to the astronomical number of people who trooped the venue to partake in the activity and this is not only in Kumasi but the rest of the other locations cited for the free screening.
Speaking to Kumasionlinegh.com, Abena reiterated that though this is the maiden edition of the Nyamedua Foundation free health screening, she is of much belief that it will become an annual event.
